We went to the “M” town gathering to greet Santa. I love the town I grew up in and this is just one reason why. Santa either rides in the police truck or on the fire truck (weather pending). He goes all through town with the sirens blaring as everyone anxiously waits his arrival at Wyatt Park. Wyatt Park is deck out with all the good stuff; Christmas Lights, the Christmas Town, and Santa’s Throne (okay it’s only a folding chair with decorations but still a throne nonetheless.) Once Santa arrives he greets every child (or teenager) and asks the age old question “What do you want for Christmas?” After your turn on Santa’s lap don’t go home. The fun is not over yet. A quick walk across the street to Grandpa Halling’s House will get you a treat! Hot chocolate and doughnut for everyone…Hooray!! What could be better than mingling with everyone in town while you sip on steamy hot chocolate? “M” town is amazing.

The night Santa came to town was a really cold and drizzly evening. We had to keep Logan happy by slipping him Cheerio's and passing him around. Grandpa and Grandma gave the adults (Aaron, Levi, Nicole, and I) the EYE when we started throwing the Cheerio's at each other. Hey we needed something to keep us entertained and at least it wasn't snowballs.

You are never too old to sit on Santa's lap! Nicole and Levi showed Logan what to do so he would be ready when his turn came.

Its official Logan has met the jolly old elf himself. He actually didn’t cry or act scared. Everyone keeps telling me to what until next year. But for now I got a really cute picture of Logan and Santa “checking” each other out.

We tried to get a family shot but Logan wouldn't look at the camera. He was too interested in Santa's beard and the shiny candy cane.
Only one week left and I am giddy with excitement. We love SANTA at our house!!!
