Grandma and Grandpa Bennion got the grandkids water guns for the trip. They had fun chasing each other around but that quickly turned into chasing the nice dry parents around. Here are my cute little “Charlie’s Angels”.
Next to our campsite was a really fun rope swing that sadly only the adults could play on. Michael best described the shock of hitting the water as follows “There are a few things warmer than that water…ice-cubes…snow…” By the time you got out of the water you were numb from the cold.
Yeah we did it and survived the cold!

Question: How do you keep Logan from consuming every single pinecone/needles on the earth? Answer: Contain him in his sleeping quarter that conveniently doubles as an anti-pinecone detention center. Don’t think we are cruel and keep our baby in lock up 24/7. We let him crawl around and get plenty dirty. I just didn’t want to change another needle filled diaper.
Finally last but not least THE SAWDUST PILE! The pile was pretty cleaned out after the kids but we (the women folk) wanted to see if we could find any chocolate. Dawn (I think) found that one and only piece (ugh!). She does have a few more years practice than I do. But I am a quick learn and will soon learn the fine art of effective searching techniques. When I do watch out girls I’m here to fight!Another great camping trip has come and gone. Let’s do this again next year!
