In celebration of Aaron’s Birthday, we headed to Salt Lake for dinner and a night out on the town. With the busy holiday season and snowstorms, we had to delay the outing for few weeks. Finally, on Wednesday we had a free night. We left home around 4pm with hopes that Logan would take a nap on the way and be a happy camper the rest of the night. Well he didn’t. Instead he talked the whole way… that is, except for the last 15 minutes. Trying carefully to keep him asleep, we went inside the Olive Garden. He woke up as we entered the restaurant. Logan is a CHAMP and was the greatest the whole evening. Yes, we are counting our lucky stars. While dining on garlic breadsticks and salad, we slipped Logan a little food (okay 2½ breadsticks). Needless to say, he really liked them. After a scrumptious meal we headed downtown to Temple Square. The lights are always stunning and the atmosphere is so fun and festive. Like I said earlier, Logan was awesome. His behavior made for one pleasant evening.

It is nice to have reminders of the true reason for the season. We are so blessed to celebrate the miracle of our Savior's birth.
